CONSIDERATIONS ON HOW GOD WORKS WITH APOSTLES.

Dr. Kluane Spake

The future success of the church revolves around HOW well apostolic revelation becomes functional and established. The "house" can only be as strong as its FOUNDATION(Eph.2:19-21; 1Cor.12:28). The way it goes with apostolic leaders determines the church. Generally, true apostles:

ESTABLISH CHRIST'S PRESENCE (Eph.3:9-12).

They have encountered Jesus on a personal level.

They communicate God's INTENTION.

They know how to connect into the presence of God.

They have learned how live and co-exist on earth as it is in heaven.

They are concerned about what is actually being lived - rather than just learned.

ARE COMMISSIONED AND "SENT FORTH" BY GOD.

They have suffered persecution, learned to overcome, and used it for benefit.

Their gifting is observable to others.

They maintain a specific metron (sphere, scope of reach) of authority.

They are the "proton" - the "first one in" with an idea, concept, or ministry.

They persuade with life-changing reformational concepts that declare the finished work of the redemption of Christ Jesus.

They convert the world into the Kingdom.

They use their influence to affect their sphere of authority.

PLANT NEW WORKS

They establish and build new works (churches, ministries, outreach, etc.).

They lead (often as generals) and others follow.

They commission, release, and "send" others.

OPERATE IN GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT

They usually move in prophecy, the Gift of Tongues and Interpretation and several diverse Power Gifts - such as miracles, signs, and wonders.

They specialize in causing heavenly to manifest on earth.

They hear what God is saying TODAY (present truth).

They obtain fresh revelation that transmits vision and purpose.

They walk in wisdom and understanding.

HAVE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT

Irreproachable Godly character and integrity are the hallmarks of a true apostle.

ENFORCE FORWARD MOMENTUM -- PROPER DIRECTION:

Apostles are governmental and rightly understand how to use their authority.

They set up foundational governments.

They keep the church from drifting off-course into seeker sensitivity, fads, & cultural relevancy.

They know the next step.

They finish what is begun.

They avoid undue and excessive structure.

ENABLE ACCOUNTABILITY

Teach functioning members and bring them into DESTINY (Eph.4:11-16).

Hold others in relational answerability.

The Apostle equips, mentors, blesses, and releases leadership into right function, accountability, and understanding of etiquette.

They bring order and discipline.

They facilitate connections and networking with likeminded people

BRING ACCURATE REFORMATIONAL INSIGHT and CONCEPTS

They avoid competitive mindsets.

They expose heresy.

They are innovative and inventive new thinkers, pioneers, revolutionists, ground breakers, revivalists, re-generators, renewalists, re-structurers, world-shattering men and women who affect the world with Present Truth.

They move with God's wisdom and not empirical or carnal understandings.

They enable men and women of all races, cultures, classes, and ethnic backgrounds with Melchizedek concepts.

They de-emphasize cultural forms of power, status & influence.

They continue steadfastly with doctrine and discern truth.

FACILITATE TRUE PROSPERITY

They facilitate true prosperity in the spirit, soul, and body.

Any poverty that happens because of religious justification causes the church to become all the more self-absorbed & problem focused.

You fit everyone of the things you wrote...as long as I have spent with you as my mentor I am certaining your annointing and teaching have been transferred to me. There are times when I hear you in me, they say the sincerest form of flattering is imitation, but I think when you see truth and integrity one would be wise to learn and imitate!

Hi Brother, Recently some LDS missionaries came to my door.

They used a verse in James about praying for Wisdom to mean to pray to see if the Book of Mormon is true. Their theory of knowledge was inner witness that something is true or false. I explained that wisdom has to do with application of God's Word, to read the book of Proverbs.

They also claimed that the true church has Apostles, Prophets and the 70. I pointed out from Acts 1, no one today can be an apostle like the original 12 Apostles. that from Hebrews 1, no one is a prophet on the level of OT prophets. I then asked them how many children they each had. Showing from Tim and Titus that a deacon, overseer and therefore an elder must be married with children. Also, from Hebrews 7 that his priesthood is non transferrable. I also, pointed out that Jesus told us to also love the Lord our God with all our mind. I also, asked them how many manuscripts are behind the Book of Mormon, there are over 25,000 manuscripts behind the NT alone. We then discussed textual criticism using the tree in my front yard. That comparing various translations is a good thing. I also, asked them about when they were going to make a updated new translation for the book of mormon.

Today, I see a modern Apostle as being a Missionary --- Paul for example.

Upon reflection, Pentecostal and Mormon theories of knowledge are the same, both mystical and experience based. Both, claims that the Holy Spirit tells them what a scripture text means, rather than doing sound exegesis and letting the Bible text speak for itself. Maybe, I am wrong, but I see illumination of the Spirit as telling us how to live for Jesus.

Prayer wise, I am unemployed due to care giving responsibilities to My Father in Law, Aunt Gladys and My Mother, also I am dealing with health problems – degenerative bone disease(very painful), cancer is in wait and see stage again.

May I, have any of your books that deals with these subjects, free of charge, please.

Thank You

Daniel

Dearest Beloved Pastor and Family;

Greetings!

It is my honor and pleasure to take this opportunity to write as I came across your ministry over the Internet. I believed that my letter is a big surprise to you yet, it is with great joy to share my ministry work here in the Philippines through letters. I believed it is not by accident but by God's grace He really made it possible.

Let me introduce my name, ministry, and family and a little background about my work here in the Philippines. I am Almer M. Calijan 36 years old, married and I was blessed with one daughter and one son,I am grateful that the Lord nurtured them into His Divine ways. I am an independent minister of the Lord for the great commission. I have started this very rewarding missionary work way back 1997 as its started from one of the indigenous family in one of the small mountain village here in Davao province, until it grew up to many families in an adjacent and neighboring villages. The Lord moves in a tremendous ways through miracles until I finally was able to put up 7 indigenous churches that right now I oversee.

I am engaged in church planting, outdoor meetings, home bible studies, Pastoring church, handing out Gospel tracks to bus terminals, hospitals, prison cells, as well as feeding children. My vision is focus on tribal and indigenous cultural communities and less fortunate in our societies, as I found it more interesting to served the Lord despite of hardship for the sake of paramount need for soul’s harvest. however, I am glad to witness it with my own eyes that lost souls are save for Christ. I just cannot afford to see them die without Christ.

This ministry that I have is self-supporting, self-propagating, and self governing. I run this very rewarding missionary work by faith through the generous contribution of our poor tenant brethren who love the Lord despite of their poverty living conditions.

This place of ministry that I engaged in is thickly populated with muslims and paganism a religious belief coming from the ancestral religious taboo, were people are used to worship stone and etc. there are always strong pressure on our part because me and my family are being harass, mock, and even harm, my heart bleeds seeing them lost yet, despite all the pressures that we encountered, hardship that we faced, we are not discouraged we are seeking God to our fervent prayer that somehow God will open up their minds and hearts to the genuine truth that we both preach and live.

As I came across your website over the computer, I was prompted to write assuming that you can help us with sound, accurate, vibrant, spirit filled messages and enriched wisdom to your teaching materials, as the Lord surrounded us with many gifted and willing men and women who are ready to take the gospel of salvation to the unreached souls in all provinces, cities, rural areas, mountain villages here in Mindanao even to the entire island of Philippine archipelago.

To do this, I believe we need also prayer support from you, who are willing and be able to endow us with spiritual cover and mantle of authority to put their shoulders to wheel with us and stand with us in this great calling for us to lay down our lives for our brethren. I strongly believe that we are one in the body of Christ; I do hope that you are open to welcome us as part of your family ministry there though we are here in the Philippines.

How we really wish as well to see you personally and it is our honor and privilege should you have time someday to visit and share the gospel here in the Philippines. You are very welcome to visit and see our work personally here and it is a big blessing for us to work with you together in the Lord’s work. Lastly may God bless and your family and all your Divine undertakings rest assured that we will keep in touch with you with our prayers and reports of our work here in the Philippines.

Looking forward to hear from you soon............

Sincerely yours,

Pastor Almer M. Calijan
